Don't know that "common sense" was in my vocabulary back in the 1970's but I've often been accused of being the "voice of reason"...even today; ever the diplomat but I suppose that has been my mantra throughout life, and it certainly has been an interesting one so far. We must have a reunion here in Hawaii. I'm a great host! Love you both...

Tom told me about your father. I am sorry. My father passed away January 12th. It is really weird having both parents gone now. It is always the hurt from missing the presence and contact of one who has been such a significant influence and comfort to us for most of our life that makes it difficult.
It is really good to hear that you and Tom are doing well. Now that my mom isn't in Meyersdale to keep me informed on what is happening and I no longer receive the "Meyersdale Rebuplic", I feel my past fading away. Tom and I have been emailing back and forth a few times. It is so nice to get in touch with some of my favorite classmates. Tom always had the common sense (seemed to have - lol) and you always cracked me up. I wonder whatever happened to Mick Fisher. I'll never forget that string growing out of his chin. Do you remember what I'm talking about Beach? Well, sorry I haven't been able to visit with any of you guys (my loss). Being so far away trying to rear three teenagers and hold down a full-time job keeps me confined to the area most times. Hopefully one day I can hear you sing some Neil Young again.
Take care and don't sneeze while you're driving. You know what happens then? LOL!

I typed a real long response to your response and it got lost in cyberspace somewhere. If you and yours are ever in Central Florida, call (352) 638-4030. Yeah, Dad is declining on a daily basis. I am sorry to hear about Beachy. Isn't hard to watch someone you have known all your life start to fade away? Keep the faith!!! Always remember acoustic guitar!!! There is a lot of soul in acoustic. However, you can find the 'heart' in any guitar.

Great web page and MySpace page. The songwriting just keeps getting better with "Living Day to Day" and "Spin". Liked the modern take on "Heart of Gold" also. Will buy the new CD as I still enjoy your last two CD's. Where was "Pushing Hard to the Shore" recorded? Will see you on tour after 5/1/06!
